SUITS Annual General Meeting is on next week, where you can vote on all executive positions and have your say in how SUITS will run! All students are eligible for a position and all members are allowed to vote.

SUITS is one the premier student run IT societies in Australia. Everything we do is for students, organised by students. If you have great ideas for how to make IT more enjoyable for students or just want to get more involved consider nominating yourself for one the positions below.

Your Sydney University IT Society held its fourth Annual General Meeting last night to elect the executive team for the period from the rest of the year to roughly the same time next year. This is the night that decides the future of SUITS.

Everyone knows what happens in an AGM. The usual formalities: motioning changes, electing new execs. But really, it has been really fun. Not surprisingly, this AGM in 2008 was the longest AGM we’ve ever had. That is, the longest AGM out of the two that we’ve had so far. Well 3 if you include the inaugrual general meeting. It started from 5pm today and it wasn’t until 8pm that the formalities ended.

So here’s our new executive team for 2008-2009:
